Negative effects of social media
Most people spend countless hours every day on social media. Of course, there are also negative effects of jumping around too much on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok and co. There is a study in which four out of five study participants state that social media increases various anxieties. The study showed that people who spend more than two hours a day on social media often report being in a bad mental state. They get in a bad mood when they see holiday photos of friends or when certain status symbols are displayed. On top of that, there's all the greed for likes and the competition to see who can catapult their appearance to the top of the general perfection craze (using well-known fake apps, of course).
